Agreement to Terms

By booking a tour with EverPine Adventures, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

Booking and Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the tour departure date. Full payment is required for bookings made within 30 days of departure.

We accept major credit cards and e-transfers. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation Policy

Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for detailed information about refunds and cancellations.

Participant Requirements

Participants must:

• Be in appropriate physical condition for the selected tour difficulty level
• Disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or medications that may affect participation
• Be at least 12 years old for moderate tours and 16 years old for hard tours (unless accompanied by a guardian)
• Follow all safety instructions provided by guides
• Carry required personal items as specified in the pre-tour information

Health and Safety

Outdoor activities involve inherent risks. While we take every precaution to ensure your safety, participants acknowledge that hiking, backpacking, and wilderness activities carry risks including but not limited to: injury, illness, wildlife encounters, adverse weather conditions, and difficult terrain.

Participants are required to sign a liability waiver before the tour. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers adventure activities.

Guide Authority

Our guides have the authority to make decisions regarding tour routes, schedules, and participant safety. Guides may modify itineraries, turn back groups, or exclude participants who pose a safety risk to themselves or others. Such decisions are final and do not entitle participants to refunds.

Weather and Trail Conditions

Tours operate in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by our guides. We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours due to extreme weather, trail closures, wildlife activity, or other safety concerns. In such cases, we will offer alternative dates or a full refund.

What's Included

Unless otherwise specified, tours include:

• Certified professional guide services
• Transportation from designated Calgary meeting points
• Parks Canada permits and entry fees
• Safety equipment (bear spray, first aid kit, communication devices)
• Lunch and snacks for day tours
• All meals, camping equipment, and backcountry permits for multi-day tours

What's Not Included

• Personal hiking gear (boots, clothing, backpack)
• Travel to/from Calgary meeting points
• Accommodation before or after tours
• Travel insurance
• Gratuities for guides (optional but appreciated)
• Personal expenses and souvenirs

Conduct and Behavior

Participants are expected to:

• Treat guides, staff, and fellow participants with respect
• Follow Leave No Trace principles
• Refrain from alcohol or drug use during tours
• Respect wildlife and maintain safe distances
• Stay with the group and follow designated trails

We reserve the right to remove participants who engage in dangerous, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior without refund.

Photography and Media

By participating in our tours, you consent to being photographed or filmed. We may use these images for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.

Limitation of Liability

EverPine Adventures, its owners, employees, and guides shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or expense arising from participation in our tours, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the tour.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
